How to show powerpoint slide show created on a PC on a Macintosh?

I'm creating a slide show in Power point on a PC. The slide show will be
burned to a DVD and shown on a MAC. Is there anything special I need to do
to ensure the slide show runs automatically on a MAC? certain file format,
settings, etc.
 
Are you actually creating a DVD, or are you just putting the presentation on
a DVD in the same way that you'd put it on, say, a USB stick?

If the latter, which version are you using on the PC, and which on the Mac?

Now, if you're creating a DVD -- the type that would run in a DVD player
hooked to your TV -- then that's a whole 'nuther ball o' wax.
 
If you want to creat a playable DVD that can run on DVD machine you
should convert your PPT file at first.

machine, DVD player and TV.
