My clever kids have make disappeared the list of Contacts that was on the
down left handside of Windows Mail.

It was very useful to write a new email to someone in my list just by
double-clicking on the name of the contact.

Can anyone help me to get it back ?

Thanks in advance.

Your kids didn't make it disappear. It was never there in Windows Mail.
There is a button on the toolbar for Contacts.

They made something disappear that wasn't there to begin with?

They must be real clever, have them fix the other problems in WIndows Mial
that don't exist.

:-)

I did not see any options in the layout or custom settings. Is it possible
to put it back at all? Or are we stuck with it this way now? Why did
Microsoft have to mess with it in the first place!

Windows Mail has no option to have your contacts displayed
on the left as they were in Outlook Express.

Microsoft decided to remove a lot of options that were not
used by most people. MS wants you to click on Create Mail,
then click on TO and select your recipients.
