I would like to set my calendaring in Outlook2000 so that
only my free/busy time is visible (as bars) when someone
tries to schedule a meeting. I don't want anyone to be
able to do an "Open Other User's folder (calendar)" and
get access to all the details. On the network, I'm able
to open some of the other user's folders. So I thought
mine may be accessible also by default.

Would appreciate some advice.
Thanks

Right-click your calendar icon and select PROPERTIES
Select PERMISSIONS
Make sure your default is set to NONE.

Your Calendar Options is where you setup your
free/busy publishing. You can publish up to 12
months of your calendar (1 month previous and 11 ahead)

If your permissions are set to NONE on your
calendar then no one will be able to see the details but
they will be able to see your free/busy if you publish it.
