One custom color scheme will travel with a template (POTX) or theme (THMX).
Once you've applied (selected) that color scheme -- whether it's a custom
one or one of the built in ones -- on the Design Tab | Colors dropdown, then
those colors show up in the color pickers (shape fill, shape outline, font
color) when the users open a file based on that POTX or THMX -- or if they
apply that POTX or THMX to their presentation.
As I said, though, only one custom color scheme will travel with the POTX or
THMX. If you need more, then you have to edit the XML manually. Here's how:

I've developed a nice set of corporate colors (PPT 2007) under the Design
tab/Colors/Create New Theme Colors. How can I share this set of colors
with
my coworkers? I thought it traveled with the PPT doc, but turns out it
didn't. Or maybe I need to save the PPT a different way? Thanks for your
help.
