how to setup password control to specific tables in Access?

I am trying to set up user level accounts that have password access but only
to the content of specific tables in Access 2003 - would really like the
access to initiate on a switchboard.
 
That is quite doable with User Level Security. The permissions you grant to
the Users Group will be available to any user that doesn't login, and you
can protect specific tables to other users.

You can set a startup form (your switchboard) in Tools, Startup.

Thank you - I did not see where I could assign specific tables in the User
level setup - will look deeper.
