We have one exchange 2000 server in a windows 2000 domain environment, and we
have more users than client machines, therefore many users access one client
machine is the only option. the problem rises when setting up many user
profiles using outlook on one client machine, and that is I have to setup as
many times as that many new user logins (meaning I could only setup one new
profile at a time when a new user logs in, because all other users won't be
able to access their mailboxes if I have their profiles setup from the very
first user login. I recall Windows NT 4 did not have such issue). is there an
one-for-all way to setup all profiles at once regardless who logs in the next
time will have access to his/her mailbox? Please help!!! Thank you!!!

Yep, it's a common problem. You need to download the resource kit files for
your version of office. When you install it on the client machine you must
then run the Custom Installation Wizard. Within that, you get an option to
create a new profile- do that and use %username% as the name of the user,
then export it as a PRF file as save it on a network share i.e.
\\servername\office$\admin.prf. Once that is done alter the Outlook shortcut
to like like the following:

Outlook.exe /importprf \\servername\office$\admin.prf

I'm working from memory here, but I think that's how you do it anyway :-)
