how to setup internet sharing?

I want to set my internet to share mode to allow my digital phone to work
over the computer i use that is a wireless connection

You need a VOIP enabled router (Voice over internet protocol) or a Broadband
Phone Adaptor (see Belkin.com) and a ISP that provides a VOIP enabled
connection. Enquire with your local computer shop.

Instant Messaging offers peir to peir voice and video connections and some
txt messaging to mobile devices, but no VOIP to phones.

In addition to what Rob has stated. Microsoft's Windows Live Messenger
(formerly called MSN Messenger) will allow you to make VOIP calls through
it, to phones, using Verizon as the carrier. It will not allow you to
receive calls through your PC. You will have to go the route that Rob has
