Hello

I want to setup internal email using windows 2000. I hav setup windows 2000
advanced server. I want to send/.receive mail to internal user. How can I do
this? I dont want to use any kind of third party tool or exchange server.

Is this also possible internal Instane Messaging for internal user, so they
can chat/confrencing internal user? I am thinking for Microsoft Office Live
server. I am having currently 15-20 user basically they are developer on
same location. I want to give them privilige to chatting as well as file
sharing as we are doing in Yahoo/Hotmail.

I would appreciate an early response.

Hi Ashis:

I find dificult to make it possible, with windows 2000, in windows 2003
enterprise edition is possible to do some goals that you want, like POP3
(recieve mail), SMTP (send mail), the file sharing is possible but not like
hotmail/yahoo messengers.

If you want to do something like Hotmail/Yahoo messengers but for your
enterprise, exist 2 ways (using microsoft software):

1.- Exchange (it implements the possibility to setup the enterprise
messenger)
2.- MS Office Live Communicator (whose is a enterprise messenger and does
not use the classic hotmail messenger, it uses it's own messenger)
