How to set up resply messages go to my send folder

have no idea what changed, but overnite some setting altered and have spent 2
hours going thru every setting

i'm new to MS Office Outlook 2003

when i respond to a message, a copy goes to my Unread folder and into my
sent folder -

Well, sent items are supposed to go to the Sent Items folder. If they are
unread, then they'll alsio appear in the Unread Mail folder. The issue is
why they are appearing as unread. Check the rules wizard and make sure you
don't have an outgoing message rule.
 
I found the issue - in email account set up, under the "General" tab, i had
filled into the box titled "reply to email address", i had filled into each
box for all four email accts, the address of that very acct
i assumed that referred to address to be supplied to recipients to reply to
but apparently not

when i cleared those boxes, no copies showed up in my "unread" folder

also suspect Mozilla Firefox may be playing with the Office Outlook 2003
settings as i lost my signature which contained a small clip art object and
had a heck of a time re-inserting it and it still doesn't show the font and
size i selected

i'm still the fred flintstone of computers, hitting 60 in a few months and
boy am i ready for retirement
