Can someone advise me what's the best environment to setup for windows
development? Should I use two PC's one as a server and one as a client? Can
I just run everything off one PC?

I' studying to get my MCDA and MCSE at home . Does anyone have any
suggestions wghat PC's I would need to setup and what Applications should be
loaded?

Are there any good online resources?

Thanks,

I'm not really sure what you mean by resources but have you looked at these?

If you were just trying to obtain a MCAD certification, I would probably
tell you to just run everything on one computer; but, since you're also
trying to get your MCSE certification, no harm could come from setting up
your own home network and getting a first hand feel for what it's like to
set up a small network.

As far as what software should be loaded, I would say to focus on what the
course demands. You will also have to read between the lines. You'll
notice that one of the requirements is an understanding of ADO.NET More
then likely, at some point, you're going to need either the MSDE or MS SQL
Server. Basically, just kind of "go with the flow". Don't get hung up one
what software you need upfront, worry about that when the time comes.
