Hi, There:
I guess this problem is related to the language setting of operate system or
MS Access, but I don't know how to deal with it.

I installed MS Access 2000 (Office 2000 Chinese version) in both Win2000
Professional (Chinese) and Win2000 Server (English).
I created an Access database in Chinese Win2000, which can execute click or
double click or other events. But the same database cannot run properly in
English Win2000 Server.
Invoke click or double click resulted the following error:

The statement input as an event property click result the following
error:
------------------------------
Problem occurred when communicating between MS Access and OLE server

* The result of a statement may not be a name of macro, user defined
function name or [event procedure].
*There may be error when get the value of function, event or macro.
------------------------------
(The above error message is translated from Chinese, may not match English
version error message.)

If the Access database is created in English Windows 2000, it is able to run
in Chinese Windows 2000. However, if I add a new table and create a form
using that table, and put a button on it in Chinese Win2000, this button
will cause the same problem as describled above.

Any help?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply!
I did use Norton and tried the instruction, but the problem still there.
And the error messages are not match the error message I given.
My error message indicate a "name of macro, user defined function name or
[event procedure]."
I guess this is because different system return different name for the macro
or function or event procedure. But I don't know what to deal with this.
Hope you or someone else can help.
Thanks!

I can only guess.

Try create a new DB on your English W2k and import everything from the one
created on the Chinese version. If it works, try this new DB on the Chinese
W2k.
