Hello!

My cable company just set up the Interne on my computer, using Outlook 2003
as my email client.

At first I heard a little bell and an envelope by my clock, at the bottom of
my screen when I receive a new message, but then it stopped.

Now, the only time I can find out if I have new emails is to click on
Send/Receive in Outlook. The cable guy said that there's a way to be notified
of new emails automatically without having to click on Receive/send, but
wasn't sure how to do that.

Can anyone help?

HI Toody,
try
tools > options > preference tab > e-mail options > advanced e-mail options
there you can activate the options you want to

Thanks, Andreas,

I've set up the options that you directed me to. Sometimes they work, and
sometimes they don't. I think maybe it's because I haven't unstalled AOL from
my system yet.
