IF i received a ready presentation and it has a sound track or music file
and I need to separate this file to listen to it when ever I need without the
need to open the presentation, How can I do it????

hi,
the only way i know of to actually edit the ppt file is use the full
powerpoint program but that a little expensive....

a couple of work arounds.....

1. convert your powerpoint presentation to video!!
after converting you can then import that into your movie editor (for ex.:
Windows Movie Maker) and edit out the sound

2. another idea is to use a screen recorder program.... there a few free
ones availl they'll caputre what ever on the screen and in many instance also
any back gournd sound...... capture save as a avi or mpg or flash then import
into your movie editor and edit....

Have a look at my answer to Michael a few threads down, under the subject
Can I make a separate copy of music from a PowerPoint? It may be of use.
