How to send message between two different systems in different net

hi,
I want to send message from one system to different system which are in
different network, one of the system has ipaddress example 221.0.0.23 and
subnet mask as 255.255.255.0 and default gateway as 123.21.32.116 and other
system WHEN I TYPE ipconfig in dos promt it gives two ip address ie
132.21.32.222
and subnet mask for this 255.255.0.0
and the actual system ipaddress as 221.43.21.45
and subnetmask as 255.255.255.0
and default gateway as 132.21.32.222 (as above given)

hi,
Right now we use 'NET SEND <SYSTEM - NAME> <"MESSAGE">
But when I try the same thing for ipaddress below it doesn't work out. What
are the changes I need to do inorder to send message from one system to
another. Though i can see the system in the network, but not able to send
message.
