How to send e-mails to contacts selected from category and not folder?

I am trying to get rid of folders in my contacts and be
able (when sending new e-mail) to select e-mail adresses
from specific category, rather than from a folder (as I
have now)? Has anybody done it? All my contacts have
categories, but I cannot see them when selecting for
sending e-mails - Anna
 
You can only sort a Contacts Folder by category, not the Outlook Address
Book.
