i have all my contacts in my address book in oz on a computer that has xp
pro. for some reason the contacts in the address book arent all in the
contacts folder and thus every suggestion i have got about sending the
address bk details hasnt work. how do i get the address book details [incl
lists] to my laptop which has xp? either by email or by disc or other means.

What you claim is not possible. There is no data in the Outlook Address
Book. The Address Book can only display Contact Folder data. Look more
closely.

ok. as i am now in florida i will have to get a friend to look at it and give
me more info. i checked the contacts lists and some of the addresses i put
in the address book were not in the contacts... i checked it a few times as i
couldnt figure it out. i did major additions after the arrival of our twins -
they were saved as a new contact. any suggestions on where the info might
have gone - settings etc as i will have to get my friend to go hunting... he
has better computer skills than the average and certainly me. thanks and i
will post once i get some feedback.

People often end up with more than one Contacts Folder in Outlook. The one
they are displaying in the Outlook Address Book may not be the same one they
are viewing at the time in Outlook. Always use Folder List view in Outlook
to make sure all folders are on display.
