how to select cells which includes includes date for e.g. 1/1/2003

hi all expert,

i got a problem selecting cells which contain date(1/1/2003),

i got a column of date in this format(1/1/2003)

i wanted to select only all april date only for
example....(4/21/2003),so anyone can help me slove this simple
task....thank a lot..."P
 
Data>Filter>Autofilter. Click the arrow on the column label and choose
Custom, where you should enter the parameters.

thank a lot.....i have manage to solve the problem.....

i got another problem...which i need u to help.....can i attach a
file...so it will make it more easy to help me....i got a excel
doc....and the titles is called "projects price monitoring....these are
two sheet in the doc...sheet 1 and 2,sheet 1 on consists of the prices
base on date....whereas sheet 2 consists price bases on monthly
basis.......i want to make sure when i edit any figure in sheet
one.....the total figure in sheet 2 will also changed when sheet 1 is
edited.......i have use the pivot table...and this excel doc consist of
a macro which create the pivotable....after all these has done.....i
also want to create a chart...(line chart) which shows the monthly
price(plan costs) and monthly price(actual costs) in the same
chart.....as i want to see the varies....hmm...could anyone help me
with these two problems...???......thank alot in advance....."P
