How to see the IP Address of an URL

Hi, can anybody help me how to find out the IP address of
an URL I have currently opened in my IE?

Try goes to a dos prompt and use the Ping command. (Ping www.xxxx.xxx ). or
you could download Sam Spade and use it. Its a free program.
 
open start/all programs/accessories/command prompt
a dos window will appear
at the cursor type
PING (url Address)
it will return the Ip address
and return routing time if it connects
