Hi All

I need to enable some sort of tracking on the people they chat with. I found
some not very nice pictures of my 12 year old girl & I want to see how she is
send it to.

yes this is snooping but she is only 12 years old & need to make sure it is
not a sexual predator

Thanks

Greetings,

The only thing Microsoft has to deal with this at the moment is a feature in MSN Premium
which sends you a "report" of who your kids are talking to:

I will do a search But doesn't messenager have some type of traker?

Yes, but I think it's different in different versions. If she has the
current version you look in File > View Message History

That’s great you have to pay thanks BILL for helping out the parents. If
anyone saw the report in dateline ABC lately on the men who try to pick 12
-14 year kids using chats you know why I am kind of nervous. thanks all for
your reply.
I think the only way to be sure is to unhook the cable, but i think she
would kill me in my sleep LOL.

You can also do this directly in Messenger..
Go to Options, and select Messages.
Under "Message History", put a check in the box "Automatically keep a
history of my conversations"
Do not check the box "show my last converstations...", as this will alert
her that a history is being saved.
Then set up the location where the history files are to be saved.

When you want to view the history, just go to that history saved location
(with Windows Explorer) and open the History folder: there will be an XML
file for each person she was in contact with, and it will be appended every
time she communicates with that person. If you double click on the file, it
will open up in Internet Explorer.

Of course, if she is a computer savvy 12-year old, you may know all this,
and disable it behind your back. And, setting this option on, will of course
only show you the history from that point on, not what she did previously.
But, hey, try it anyway.
