mind if i ask why you want to encrypt what goes to the printers? if they
are shared printers, this aspect of security seems ludicrous. if you want
to secure your whole network, you are better off looking at PPTP or other
such VPN solution.

Buy a printer with a control panel and a Secure Print feature, where the
printer stores the job until the user comes up and releases it with his
password.
