Outlook 2007 Instant search will only search for M&I if the word begins
with
it. It will not find it if its in the word, like WM&I.
Did you try "M&I", with quotes?

I am running Outlook 2007.
I get the same results with Advanced Find.
:
Version of outlook? Have you tried using Advanced Find?

I am trying to search (e.g. contacts) for items that contain the
string
"M&I".
When I type this as a search scring the "&" is interperted as an
"AND"
and
I
get all entries that have both a M and I. Not at all what I am
looking
for.
What do I have to put into the search field to get the "proper"
results.
Thanks,
