How to search for string in all text files in a folder?

I thought I could use the Windows XP "Search Companion" to find all the
text files in a folder that contain a certain string, but I can't get it to
work. Is this possible? And if not, is there another way?

Yes! Downloading and using xp_persisthandler.vbs did the trick.
