How to search for mail that was sent in the past month?

How to search for mail that was sent in the past month
In “Advanced Find†there is option to search in last month; but it doesn’t really work for me. What I am really looking for is for the past month (or last 30 days)
I couldn't find any preset settings that will do this search, is there any way to create a custom function that will search this
 
You can use Advanced Find for this, too, and save the search.

way that I know of to search for email sent on a certain date is to go into
the "Sent Items" folder and to click on the "Sent" section at the top of the
screen. This will sort all of your sent items by date and make it easy for
you to find those that you sent in the past 30 days.
