How to search an existing excel file from frontpage

I would like to add a excel data file I have to my web site. I would like
people to be able to search the excel file by typing in a word or the first
letter of the word and then having displayed all the words that begin with
that letter. They could than select the word and have displayed all the data
that is associated with that word from the excel file. How can I do this? I
am using FrontPage 2003.
 
You can write a solution in ASP.NET or possibly PHP that does that.
