Hi,

My presentation is made mainly of pictures, and I would like my text to
be displayed at the bottom of the slide, scrolling from right to left,
like a ticker.
Each slide has a different text, and the text can be pretty long
(around 200 words)

The 'fly in' entrance animation does not do the trick, as the text does
not scroll away from the screen.

Is there a way I can do this in Powerpoint?

Thanks,

Samantha

Samantha,
Create a very long text box, put all off your text in one line. Place your
text box in the lower left corner off the visible slide (grey area). Now add
your animation fly in, direction from the right, adjust the speed according
to your needs.
Also have a look here:

Under text crawling across slide, there is a sample file you can download.

Move the text out of the screen. In this way, the text will move from right,
then out to the left. Alternately, if you are using PowerPoint XP/2002, add
an exit animation.

Thanks a lot guys -- it works fine.
However after playing with it, I can not display enough text.
So I am thinking about something else.

I want to display 3-4 lines at the bottom of the screen scrolling up my
text.
Is it possible to do this? If so how?

Samantha.
