This may not be the right place to ask this question. But please guide
me to where I can get the answer.
My question is how I can save short clips presented in YouTube
(Technically speaking how to 'download' into a file) and view it offline.
Most contains both video and audio which are continuously downloaded
from the server via Internet connection and simultaneously played on
YouTube's proprietary screen. It means to require a software to
continuously accumulate the incoming digital information into a file,
just opposite to upload a file.
I understand that one can save as a file a videotape information from a
video tape recorder (VCR) if the computer is equipped with a graphic
card with S-video connector. In the case of YouTube the information is
supplied through Ethernet instead of S-video and the situation seems
similar. Perhaps there are already plug-ins avaiable, free or commercial.
Please tell me where I shall go. Thanks in advance
