I've had my comp for about two years. I,ve acccumulated a
lot of junk since then. So I was thinking of reformatting,
and starting fresh.
My question is, How do I save all of the Windows updates
so I don't have to download them all again. I'm on dail-up
so this takes forever to download.

One cannot "save" the Windows Updates already installed. You can
download the following files, record them to a CD, then install after
reinstalling Windows XP. If SP1 is not integrated with your XP CD,
then install SP1 first.

Windows XP Service Pack 1

Note: Select "Network Installation"

.
I'm not to sure what you mean by "install service pack 1
first. The SP1 is not integrated with the CD

After installing Windows XP, install SP1 afterward, then install the
Update Rollup package.
