how to save passwords, etc

Just bought and setup my new computer and every time I long on to anything (or send or receive and email) the sytem requires me to re-insert my password

Where can I go to 'click a button' so I won't have to do that any longer

Most of the time, when you are prompted for a password there is a little box
with a prompt to remember the password. If this is the case, just check the
box and you are on your way.
