how to save MS msgs this BB automatically???

With AOL, I can make a .LOG file which will grab
everything (usually) I open from a newsgroup.
It appears not to work with the MS Newsgroup lists from
the MS site.
Is there a workaround on this?
Or must I use a MS browser which may have such an option?
Shore is tiring copying all this stuff.....

Ah, okay, so I goofed up. Sorry. I am accessing the MS newsgroups
through my ISP's newsserver, not news.microsoft.com, and was assuming
the original poster did the same with AOL's newsserver (and its non-
standard protocols).

You (original poster) should indeed be able to read the MS newsgroups
using OE (or Agent or XNews or Mozilla or whatever else you feel like
using).

I had tried a number of free public newsservers back in the day but
they either didn't allow posting or died soon. My current ISP's
newsserver does a very good job, but I'll try to think of
news.individual.net next time I'm suffering from enforced usenet
withdrawal ;)
