How to save gif files?

I am not able to save gif files from outlook 2003. If i right click
and save, it is being saved as jpg only. There is no .gif extension to
select from.Is there any way around?
 
I'm having the same sort of problem, I can save a Gif. from a web site but if
it is sent via e-mail it will only save as a bitmap..? did you find a
solution for your problem..?
