how to save dvd movie

How do you save a DVD movie that is too long for the nero
burn? Is there another burn program for DVD in XP? When I
save in nero, it goes to my documents in a text file.

what do you mean "save a dvd movie"
are you trying to make a DVD out of video files, or
trying to copy a real DVD?
if the file is too large you need to split it, or encode
it using less bitrate (lower quality)

There is a shareware program that splits video into two or
more segments. (making seperate files)

good luck making files, I have not had any.

My Favorite: Use www.snapstream.com to capture through a
capture card and then compress to wmv. Really easy!
