Import the WMV file into MM2, put all the clips onto the timeline then save it to computer using the DV-AVI setting. You will now have another video with the same title but with a .avi extension. You cannot save a video movie from MM2 in MPEG2 format. For that you will need a third party software such as Sonic MyDvd or, for more advanced users, Tsunami(30 day free trial). Also, Roxio EZ CD Creator 6 has MPEG2 encoding built into the DVD maker function. Just select DVD, import your video, drag-and-drop it into the movie boxes and press burn. The movie will be encoded for DVD and burn
