how to save a distribution list under a different name

I have a long distribution list for some reason it got deleted. I want to
make a backup copy of the list and just save it under a different name, Can
someone tell me how to do this...

Right-click the list, move the mouse a little way, then release the button.
Choose Copy. Open the copy and give it a different name, or simply leave it
as a duplicate.
 
You can then move it back to the default folder. Brian's method works too,
but entails a little more risk since you can make mistakes and lose the
entire list.
