How to retrive lost word document

Your document may have been saved to the local drive of the PC you are
working on. To retrieve, perform a search of the PC (Start / Find (Search)
and type in the name of the document). Then choose a location (C: drive) and
perform the search. If the file was saved to your local drive, then you
should be able to retrieve it. If you do not know the name of the document,
you can type a series of text that you are sure is part of your document.
Again, you are going to want to ensure that you are searching the local drive
of the computer you were working on when you lost the file.

Good luck.

If the copy on the floppy is your only copy you will have to retype it. You
*may* be able to recover some of it withy the recover any text from file
option, but copy it to the hard drive first.

Never ever save to or open Word files from floppy. Copy them to and from the
hard disc.
