how to retrieve WinXP product key (OEM)

I purchased a "custom-made" PC with Windows XP Home Edition (Traditional
Chinese, no SP at that time, OEM version) installed. However the product key
sticker is now gone (lost/damaged), though I still have the disc and the
"quick start guide" here. Would that be possible to retrieve the key from
the disc??

If you have Windows XP Home Edition installaed and functional - you can
retrieve the current key from the installed and working installation using
something like Belarc Advisor or Magic JellyBean KeyFinder.

The Product Key is not on the installation media by default.
