how to retain existing local group members

hello, how can one use the restricted groups GPO such that **existing
members** to the local admin group are **not removed** when i add
global users to the local admin group of member workstations?

i followed http://support.microsoft.com/?id=810076 but **it removed
existing** global users although it did add what i want.

i see the relationship of "members list" and "member of" now. sounds so
simple. i'm trying it now (just waiting for my catalogs to get synced).

Yes! It worked as explained. My thinking was exactly the opposite of
what the link explained.
