Hello there,
I reinstalled whole Windows XP in my computer after a continuos reboot
problem (I never found the cause). I left the Genius Webcam Messenger set up
to the end, and just after I installed it, a pop-up window warned me that
some drivers were changed to an unknown version and that needed to be
restored to those included within SP3, otherwise, the system may become
unestable. The pop-up window only had an option to insert the SP3 disc and
continue (did not allow to look into another location), so I just cancelled
the screen and accept to leave the "unkown" drivers.
Is there a way to run an "scan and restore" the XP SP3 drivers? I went to
the "Add/Remove programs" but there is not an option to "repair" the SP3.
Thanks.
Arturo
P.S. By the way, is there any "generic" driver for the Genius Webcam
Messenger? The one issued by the manufacturer is from 2005 and crash
frequently.
