How to restore Outlook Data

I have WinXP, OfficeXP,Outlook2002. I deleted Outlook in error. I
reinstalled. Search of .pst files shows 23-some pretty large. I don't now
which ones I need. Back in Outlook I imported the only personal folder and
only got another set of personal folders with no content. Before I screwed
up anything else, thought I better ask ya'll for help.
How do I get rid of 2nd set of folders? How do I restore my Outlook data?

Thanks. That's some great information. I have couple sets of personal
folders. Would anyone know how to get rid of extra sets?
