How to restore outlkook

I am using Outlook 2007 in Windows XP Pro for mainly emailing and calendar.
I have been using it without any problem until an hour ago. After booting,
I was not able to open Outlook. The error is:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.

Could anyone help me how to fix this problem. Jorge

Can you open Outlook using the following switch
Start > Run > outlook.exe /resetnavpane

(notice the space between outlook.exe and /resetnavpane)
