You're better served by posting in a newsgroup for Word--that's where
the Word experts hang out. Be sure to mention what version of Word you
have, and what operating system you are using.
I believe Word has a 'detect and repair' feature, but again, you have to
tell whomever is helping what version of Word you have.

You use your Word / Office cd to run a Detect/Repair or Office Diagnostics

Cindi. You don't provide much information that we can use to guess at your problem,
but I would suggest to go to your "Add/Remove" programs and select the MS Office Program.
When you do, your will get the option to do
* Add/remove features
* Repair
* Uninstall
Choose the Repair option. Note you will need the installation disk for this repair.
The above assumes you installed Word as part of the Office Program.
If you installed Word as part of Works Suite, I don't have a suggestion.
Tell us more about the version of Word that you have and what disks you have to work with.
