How to resort quick launch list

I did a right-click on the quick launch list and selected 'sort by name', it
did, but it messed up the order of the icons next to the start orb, how can
I reset the order back to default? Is there a list somewhere?

You drag and drop the icons to where you want them.

No default order as far as I know, but you can just click and drag the icons
next to the start orb to the order of your choice.
