I had 2 scsi drives that were ok. The ST336704LCV (originally the
SX336704LC from EMC). But they would nog run at u160, only at 80.

So, i have been advised to place new firmware in the drives, this went
ok!
But when I format with scsi toolbox (with block 512):
one drive gives a "hardware error- track following error" and the
otherone gives "hardware error- mechanical positioning error"

Is there something I can do about this? Or are both my drives trashed.
They cost about 110 euro together.

Other than keep trying untill the LLF succeeds, probably not.
