Hello,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to replace the
letter K in a number (as in 10K) with three zeros? So,
10K would become 10000. I have searched this newsgroup
and Excel help and not been able to find a way to do this.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi Frank

Assuming the "10K" is text and not a formatted number, then...

Select the relevant range and from the Excel toolbar, select "Edit>Replace"
Find What: Enter......... K
Replace With: Enter....... 000
Select "Replace All" and the "OK" to close the dialog box

Hi Frank

Adding to William; note that 1K in a computer is 1024, not 1000. So if you deal with file
sizes or similar "real Ks" then your results will be 2.4 % off.
