Thank you PA Bear. That's pretty much what I have
been receiving.
It seems to happen when I'm using IE 6 or trying
to open a link
from an email in Outlook Express.
And Yes I have backed up my files. I use an
external hard drive
to keep the important stuff on for times like
this.
Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop
My OS: Windows XP Professional - Sp2, ver 5.1.2600
Here's what I actually got:
Multiple_IRP_Complete Requests
0x0000004 (0x86022660, 0x00000D63, 0x00000000,
0x00000000
If problems continue, disable & remove any newly
installed hardware
or software (did this as I installed daughter
printer so I could print
while at her house)
Disable BIOS Memory options such as caching &
shadowing.
This was all greek to me so I did a google search
and the only
thing I could understand is that is seems to
happen to Dell
computers.
Should I be posting this problem elsewhere? If
so, where ?
Thanks !
Windows version? What makes you think that
"repairing" IE/OE6 will resolve
the problem?
0x00000044: MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS
This error usually points to an issue with a
hardware driver (i.e., the
machine may be beginning to fail: backup your
personal data ASAP).
Less likely...
You receive a "Stop 0x00000044
Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests" error message
on Windows XP Professional:
