how to rename a file folder

first subfolder in documents and settings has the user's
name specified during Windows XP installation,
can I change it without reinstalling the system?
if yes, how?
if no - XP sucks :(

BTW, the RecentDocs one is in progress. The REG_BINARY module is complete [i think]. Would you like to have a copy of the code via email? Another doubt I had is some file types have undocumented EditFlags value [such as .bat and others over 00300000]. So, i plan to exclude them in the list box.

had is some file types have undocumented EditFlags value [such as .bat and

Bat's are 0x430. It's byte order reversed. Ignore the docs as they are wrong (it's showing a dword in hex format rather than hex in hex format). Remember you can write them as hex or dword. Inf files can't write dwords so they write hexs.

Compare callto and ftp. One is hex and one is dword. Both are 0x2. Which means show in filetypes dialog (normally things without extensions aren't shown).

Bat's are 0x430. It's byte order reversed. Ignore the docs as they are wrong (it's showing a dword in hex format rather than hex in hex format). Remember you can write them as hex or dword. Inf files can't write dwords so they write hexs.
