I created a Powerpoint file and saved it with a password, now I want to
remove it and I cannot seem to do it. I have tried resaving the file in
different ways but the password is always there. The Help seems to have
no answer for this, only how to do it, not undo. Thanks in advance for
any help.

Try this, Open the presentation using the password. Then do a "Save as" and
in the dialog box where it asks for the password, delete the password and
leave the box blank.

That is the solution for earlier versions but 2007 does not have the
"Tools" section, at least not that I can find.

Thanks for that! I can't believe how much they hid that and no mention
of it in any Help file. Good work in tracking that down
