I customized Format Menu and added Shared Border in FP2003. But it did not
serve the purpose. I want it removed. Itried every thing I could think of. I
also checked Help files. But all in vain. Please suggest how canI do it?
Thanks.

To remove shared borders from any page (including a DWT - which should
propagate to all attached pages):

With the website and page open
Format->Shared Borders
Clear the boxes associated with the borders you wish to remove
If this is to apply to every page in the website, Select "All pages",
otherwise select "Current Page". If you select All Pages, then every page
in the website will be given whatever shared borders are still selected.
Click OK

What is the link to your web?

first make sure you have shared borders enabled

go to tools - page options - authoring tab - make sure shared borders is
ticked and if it is not tick it and
press ok.

Next go to format - shared borders and untick all the sections you dont want

top left right bottom and make sure all pages is selected and press ok.

Thanks Tina. Your instructions worked. When I was trying to delete the shared
border I missed to try out this - I did not click on Shared Borders in Format
menu or else I would have seen that one box was ticked there. Also, in the
process of trying to get rid of the Shared Border I had unchecked the Shared
Border box in Authoring Tab under Page Options in Tool menu. So, your step by
step instruction was very helpful. Thanks again.
