Hi Anyone,

I would like to use gpedit.msc to remove Program Menu from Start Menu.
Totally don't show the Program Menu. My computer is running on W2k Pro and
it is not connected to any network (standalone computer).

Please advise me how to remove Program Menu from Start Menu by using
gpedit.msc or any other methods.

Thank you in advance.

Using gpedit.msc enable the following ploicy to remove All Programs from
start menu:

The equivalent registry key is

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Value Name: NoStartMenuMorePrograms

Just set the Programs folder to an empty folder (like "C:\Empty"). It
will show but there will be no programs in the Programs menu.

What Dave gave you was actually for Windows xp Group Policy, not Windows
2000.
