Hi, I am working on an Access 2002 on an XP Home edition. I am just
wondering if I can remove or hide the data control and the lines from a
blank form when I creat it?

Access doesn't have a "data control". If you mean the Navigation Buttons
that show up at the bottom of the Form, in design view, click on the
upperleftmost square, right-click and then choose Properties, click the
Format tab, and look for Navigation Buttons... set it to No.

The only lines I see on a blank form are those that indicate the edge of the
Form... with the Form open in Form View, on the Menu chose Window | Size to
Fit Form. Now, there will be a RecordSelector on the left -- if you want to
get rid of that, again open the Form's Property Sheet and click the Format
tab... Record Selectors is one of the options; set it to No.

That's all I see that fits your description. If I haven't answered, post a
followup here and maybe one of us can give you an answer.
