please can someone help me. I tried to watch a film in media player but it
sent me to a website to download a codec which i did. Norton told me that it
detected and removed a virus which was high. Since then my computer has been
slow and each time i try to open a web page on internet explorer it redirects
me to anti virus software websites which is very annoying.
In windows processes it shows me the following nsvsvc and also another one
which is very similiar. I found that it is spyware but norton and other
software can not find it. I cant find it in windows explorer either. Please
help me. Thank you. I am using Windows Vista.

Sorry, can't help you because this group is about programming Windows Forms
applications based on the Microsoft .Net Framework.

I'm not a virus expert, but the safest thing you can do is disconnect from any
network, shutdown your machine and boot from a clean disc containing an
up-to-date virus scanner created on a virus-free machine. Rescue your data
and completely reinstall the machine. Though, I recommend try asking in an
appropriate group to get a more sophisticated answer than mine.
